Balloons over Old Bagan

Hot Air Balloons are an incredible way to see the sprawling temple complexes in Bagan, Myanmar. In this picture, a geopolitical transition is being seen - the orange balloons in the far distance are from a long-established Australian company. The green balloon is from China. Taken in 2012, China has rapidly become a dominant influence in the nation as it slipped back into dictatorship.

Print Medium

Lumachrome® TruLife® 3D Acrylic

My premium format. The print is mounted behind museum-grade, diamond-polished acrylic with an anti-reflective face; light travels through the image and comes back luminous, with a depth no flat print has. When a piece is going to carry a room, this is the format I recommend.

ChromaLuxe® HD Metal

The image is infused directly into aluminum — high-gloss, vivid, scratch-resistant, and archival, with no glass and no frame. Each metal print arrives ready to hang on a recessed float mount, so it floats just off the wall. Bold, contemporary, and the more accessible of the two.
