I believe in the beauty of human presence within vast landscapes.
Photography, for me, is craft and performance: practice, trial and error, and possibly weeks of preparation leading up to a single moment where everything comes together. The place, the light, the people, and the readiness to execute when it arrives.
I keep returning to one thing: this tension between intimate and immense.
Artist Bio
Zachariah Garner's photography explores the tension between the intimate and the immense. He is best known for photographing the human figure in remote landscapes.
He has spent 15 years making photographs, including five years of full-time travel around the world. His perspective is shaped by his experience as a neurodivergent person (AuDHD) and a former partner acrobatics teacher.
He is based on Florida's Gulf Coast and creates large-format prints.
