“Greenland Red Sails - Peaks” places a single sailboat against a sculpted wall of Arctic ice under a rich blue sky. The iceberg’s clean planes and gentle curves rise like a frozen monument, while the boat’s red sails and their reflection carve a sharp vertical line through the calm water. I composed the scene to balance those shapes and colors. The cool weight of the ice against the warm, delicate presence of the boat, capturing a moment where stillness and quiet motion exist in the same breath.
