A massive, sunlit berg anchors the horizon, its rough surface glowing warm against the cold blue water. From this high vantage point, the scene becomes almost abstract—bright triangles of sail and their reflections mirrored among drifting shards of white. I composed the image to emphasize scale and pattern, letting the twin boats become small, deliberate strokes of color moving through an endless frozen maze.
